A SILVER Audi TT was stolen from a driveway in Rubery after thieves broke into the property and took the keys before making off in the vehicle.

A handbag was also stolen in the incident, which happened between 9.30pm on February 22 and 6am on February 23 on Callowbridge Road.

Following that, between 1.30am and 7.30am on February 23, an attempted burglary took place at another property on Callowbridge Road but on that occasion the raiders were unable to gain access and nothing was stolen.

Officers investigating the car key burglary believe the two incidents are linked and they now want any witnesses or anyone with any information to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
