RESIDENTS have been warned to be vigilant after burglars targeted a number of homes in Aston Fields.

During the latest incident, on Tuesday (March 10), raiders broke into a home on Hampton Avenue, at some time between 5.20pm and midnight, before stealing a quantity of jewellery.

Burglars also targeted a home on Wellington Road the day before.

It is believed the criminals snook in through an unlocked door, between 9am and midday, before they took a purse and a number of small trinkets.

An attempted burglary also happened on Arundel Road between 4pm last Friday (March 6) and 9am on Saturday (March 7).

The burglars attempted to force their way into the home from the back of the property.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
