ARTRIX is inviting local artists and photographers to submit work for its annual Summer Exhibition.
Selected pieces of art and photographic works will be displayed at the event which takes place from July 11 until August 15.
Organisers of the event say all submissions must be seen before May 8, so local talents are urged to get creating as soon as possible.
This is the third edition of the Summer Exhibition and more than 100 submissions were sent in last year by over 40 artists.
The exhibition itself will be curated by a young team of creative talents from local schools and colleges.
Three dimensional work and crafts will be considered according to the limitations of display space at the venue.
Artrix exhibitions co-ordinator TC Peppercorn said: “We were thrilled that last year’s Summer Exhibition was such a success and delighted we can once again offer an opportunity to the many artists who produce more unusual work that may not find an audience in more traditional galleries in the district.”
To have your art considered, please e-mail a photograph of works along with the entry form, which can be requested from the address below.
Arrangements can also be made for original works to be shown in the exhibitions co-ordinator by prior arrangement.
Please note, submissions without the signed entry form will not be considered.
Final decisions will be made by Friday (May 6) and works are to be delivered to Artrix during the week beginning July 4.
E-mail TC Peppercorn at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and an entry form.
