ANIMAL lovers are invited to join the Blue Cross in Catshill tomorrow (Saturday) at the charity’s summer fete for a day of fun in aid of homeless and sick animals.
It starts at midday and runs until 4pm with activities including go karts, birds of prey, circus skills, live music, kids actives, a dog show, and even a sponsored challenge between staff at the Blue Cross.
The fun dog show will showcase dogs rehomed from the centre as well as fury friends from further afield, and all participants are guaranteed a goody-bag prize.
Food stalls will offer fresh baked cakes, homemade dips, pastries and delicious local cider.
Adding to the festivities, X-factor warm-up comic ‘Roycey’ will provide commentary to the dog show, and a guest appearance from local DJ and comedian Jonny Cole will be sure to keep everyone’s tail wagging.
Entry costs just £1 and under-14s are free.
