SHOPPERS are being warned to be on their guard after a 91-year-old woman had her handbag stolen while she shopped in Bromsgrove’s Morrisons.
The incident happened between 9.45am and 10.45am last Wednesday (April 8).
The purse contained £75 in cash, disabled badges and personal items.
She did not remember being bumped into or distracted but it is thought it happened when she had turned away from her shopping.
Officers, who are studying CCTV, are warning other residents not to fall victim to similar thefts.
Anyone with any information on any of these incidents should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
