THERE will be a variety of music on offer at the Primrose Choir’s autumn concert at 7.30pm next Friday (October 16) at Bromsgrove’s Spadesbourne Suite, Burcot Lane.
The songs performed will range from golden oldies to hits from the musicals and other favourites.
As with previous years, there will also be a chance to get the flags out and join in with several Proms numbers, including Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.
The choir will be joined by the Walkwood Middle School Choir and the West Mercia Police Band.
All profits will go to The Primrose Hospice Centre of Care which helps people in Bromsgrove and Redditch when they are faced with life-limiting illness and their families.
A spokesperson for the choir said: “Do please come along and join us on October 16 for a rousing and uplifting evening’s entertainment while supporting this worthy local charity.”

There will also be a limited number of tickets available at the Spadesbourne Suite on the night.
The choir practices every Wednesday evening and is available for a whole range of events including performing and leading the singing of favourite Christmas carols and songs during the festive season.
