POPULAR Irish pub O’Neill’s has returned to Broad Street in Birmingham with a new urban look.

The impressive venue was officially revealed by ex-footballer and Sky Sports presenter, Matt Murray during a special launch night last Thursday (April 21).

As well as the contemporary new look and exciting features, the pub has ensured it has fine food and drink, eclectic live music and plenty of screens so customers can watch a host of top sporting events – all the things O’Neill’s has been well-known for in the past.

The new menu has a host of offerings so it suits cosy meals for two, a spot of lunch with friends or work colleagues or an evening get together in relaxed surroundings.

The pub chain has blended American flavours with the Irish heritage and the extensive menu includes brand new, freshly baked to order stone baked pizzas and the ‘low and slow’ meat and rib options.

This variety of slow cooked meat includes the tender, ‘big shorty’, which combines succulent Irish beef short rib with a rich BBQ sauce.

The drinks menu has also been extended and ale connoisseurs will be delighted to see a range of craft beers.

There is also signature cocktails and – for those wanting to indulge further – a ‘hardshake’ – licquor in a milkshake made with Irish dairy vanilla ice cream will really shake up a night at O’Neill’s.

Pip White, the general manager at O’Neill’s in Birmingham said:”We were delighted to welcome the people of Birmingham in through our doors last night to showcase lots of exciting things, including 25 brand new team members.

“Whilst our pub was popular before closing, we were overwhelmed with the feedback we received and can’t wait for the good times ahead as even more of our customers get to experience the craic for themselves.”
