A NEW season of Friday daytime films begin for retired audiences from tomorrow (Friday) at Artrix cinema.
The selection of films include Bill Bryson’s Walk In the Woods, new Bond film SPECTRE and The Lady in the Van starring Maggie Smith.
Screenings before Christmas begin at 2pm and at 11am from January to March.
The seniors’ ticket price of £5.30 includes a hot drink and biscuits.
TC Peppercorn, Artrix’ Learning and Engagement Co-Ordinator said: “Artrix really values its older and retired audiences and we are working on ways in which we can better engage them in our programme.”
She said staff ensured the venue was welcoming and the centre was easily accessible, adding she would love to hear from older people about which films they would like to see at Artrix.
