PERFORMER Garth Hewitt will be coming to Beacon Church Centre at 7.30pm next Saturday (April 16) as part of his Strange Weapons tour.
As part of the event, organised by The Community for Reconciliation and Churches Together in B45, Garth will draw on his extensive catalogue of songs, singing about struggle and hope, regrets and homecomings.
As he has toured for the last 40 years, Garth has visited areas of poverty, conflict, deprivation, and disaster, prioritising friendships with local people and bringing them encouragement.
He has also always returned to Europe and the US to highlight individuals’ stories and keep them in the forefront of people’s minds.
Tickets in advance are £6 for adults or £2 for under 16s.
On the door, they are £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for under 16s.
