MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Rock Choir enjoyed taking to the big stage at Birmingham Town Hall, joining famous four-piece G4.
The 180-strong Rock Choir, which also featured members from Redditch, Kidderminster and Stourbridge, opened the show with a 30-minute set of uplifting songs before joining G4 for six more numbers.
They included You Raise Me Up and Nessun Dorma, which the classical crossover artists wowed the nation with on the X-Factor back in 2004.
Also in the evening’s line-up was Charlotte Jaconelli from Jonathan and Charlotte, the 2012 Britain’s Got Talent runners-up.
Choir leader Christa Hugo said: “We were thrilled when G4 asked us to join them on stage.
“It was a wonderful show and the choir members loved every minute.
The G4 boys were lovely and seemed genuinely blown away by the sound we made.”
Rock Choir prides itself on fun, friendship and community spirit and, as well as helping improve people’s self-confidence, it also improves their singing skills and social life.
