BROMSGROVE-based heavy rock band Sin Eso will perform live at BBC Introducing Hereford & Worcester.

The band will be playing at galleon-ship style pub, The Victory, in Hereford at 4.30pm on Sunday (January 31), alongside Thank the Academy, Last Tree Squad, and Atlas.

Sin Eso, featuring Stephen Ashford, Toby Bowett, Luke Franks, Matt Owen, and Josh Western, signed a contract with Nature Pig last summer and are excited to be playing to wider audiences.

Guitarist Stephen, 23, said: “It feels like we’re doing something right. It’s surreal. I still can’t get used to seeing the poster.”

BBC Introducing was created in 2007 to support unsigned and undiscovered musicians and BBC Hereford & Worcester showcases unsigned talent from across the county aiming to give musicians born and bred in the area a chance to be heard by a wider audience. Bands may even get the opportunity to record sessions at the BBC’s famous Maida Vale studios or be given a slot on the BBC Introducing festival stage.

Members of the young five-piece Sin Eso, who have known each other since leaving North Bromsgrove High School, have been working hard, writing and recording music throughout 2015.

Songwriter and lead singer Toby said: “We were on such a high after playing the 02 Institute in Birmingham before Christmas – this next gig can’t come soon enough.

“Being able to play live is a reward. It’s the best part of the job. Writing is fun, but to know someone is enjoying your work is brilliant.”

He continued: “We’re also looking forward to trying a few real ales at the crazy pirate ship bar.”
